M3 meet ends very badly

As someone who grew up in a statistically dangerous
canyon in Southern California, I have seen _many_
crashes off the canyon roads, and most of them were
fatal. Topanga Canyon (Highway 27) and Tuna Canyon
were the sites of many a high priced auto fatality.

Blind corners, gravelly spots, turns that tighten up far
more than they appear to at first glance, and traffic
that cuts the corners just to make some of them at 30,
the canyons that border the California coast are no joke.

My extreme condolences to all of the families involved, most
especially the deceased. May God be with all of them, and all
of you.

Peter
