Almost 200K miles on 93 stock axles with I might add OE boots ! Trick to
keeping boots alive is lube every oil change- white lithium grease. As long
as the boots don't rip or crack and the grease stays dirt free- it will last
a very long time. I lube my 70K mile boots every once in a while in my Max
and they look shiny and soft like new when I got the car. Little
preventative maintenace goes a long run further down the road.
