Thanks for all the helpful replies regarding my car
last week. I haven't had email access since Thursday,
so I'm only now checking back. I started checking
the smaller (easier) electrical stuff first, although
by the time the car wouldn't start even after sitting
overnight, but push-started easily, it was pretty
obvious it was the starter. Unfortunately, due to
being in a little mountain town with no helpers (the
helpers were about to get married and were rather busy),
no facilities to replace it myself and no time to do it
(wedding again), I had to take my car to someone else
(Alpha & Omega in Boulder, who were great). A bit poorer
now, my car is smurfy. The new one is the non-squealing
kind too, which is nice.
