My guess is that there's still air in the system. I have a huge front mount
and though my car runs a bit warmer than I'd like (~200-205 degrees) in 90
degree weather, the stock needle doesn't budge. And I still have the stock
radiator. I'd try bleeding the system one more time, make sure to squeeze all
the hoses to get the air out. Good luck!
