Actually, the spring being at the top of the dampner body is what causes
coil binding. I just was able to look at the pictures of a TEIN setup for
the b14 and the TEIN setup does not allow the spring to be raised to the top
of the dampner. It looks to sit at least an inch down from the top of the
dampner. This would eliminate the chance of coil bind.
