When I installed a JWT POP charger on my car, I just left the air temp sensor
hanging near the intake.  Still do and it's been about 4 years that way.  My
guess is that you have an air leak/vacuum leak somewhere and that's why your
car is stalling out.  Make sure all the clamps are tightened down properly and
that you didn't leave any hoses disconnected.
