Motor mount again?????????

I changed the passenger side motor mount on my '91 Classic 18,000 miles
ago. Recently a similar groaning/creaking noise has re-appeared under
moderate braking. Could my mount have gone bad again? The car has stock
suspension and is a daily driver - so I don't throw it around. Or is it
likely to be the other front motor mount? Anyone had anything similar
occur? There seems to be nothing in the archives about a recurrence of
motor mount failure.
