I have a question for all you suspension experts. I have GC/AGXs with
325/250 rates on my NX. The ride is ok but could definately be better.
Part of the reason is the car is pretty low but not as low as when I had the
Intrax springs (yuk!). I have the Truechoice bumpstops as well. I remember
Geo talking about how he experimented with lower spring rates on his G with
good results a couple years ago. To be honest I rarely autocross and only
do 1-2 track events a year so most of the car's time is spent on the street.
I went with the 325/250 rates b/c I bought the set from a guy in cali that
got them in a gd and never used them (and high rates sound "cool" :). I
have recently acquired an additional set of GCs in the 300/200 rate. I was
thinking of trying out 250 in the front and 200 in the rear. I still want
the car to handle well but I would like the ride to be a little less harsh.
Does anyone have any experience running "low" spring rate GCs?
Thanks,
