Sorry for the HAMMER but knowing you, Jiz, you tune like crap. If your CAT
is too restrictive, get a high flow one. There are some quality high flow
CATS that will not hurt your output in a seat of the pants way. I suspect
that your old CAT melted down becuase it over heated which is due to one of
three things: 1) You had an exhaust system which was too restrictive and
then ran at high load for an extended amount of time. 2) You were way
lean. You were rich and the CAT clogged and then overheated... Running on
the street without your emissions is irresponsible. Grow up. Even if you
are the street racing, 5 minute engine swap guy.
