Holy shit!  Well, it's good to feel like you weren't wasting your time &
money!  Which vendor supplied this engine?  Is this one of the "only" 30K
mile JDM specials?

That's not as bad as the rod bearing in my NX that was oil starved and
knocking badly (fixed with in-car bearing replacement job!)  But definitely
not healthy.
