If you took the tire off, yes.

I think Charlie is being a little too conservative on the issue, though.
There's not much slop in the bearings and the iron rotor is kind of soft
and you have suspension bushings absorbing some of the shock, so it would
take some serious whacking to damage more than the rotor.
