I can personally vouch for the fact that the AVS Intermediates are fantastic on
pavement with a treadwear rating of 160, and absolutely CRAP on a dirt
rally course :P  I just want some of those (DMX?) struts with the resevior
and the big ass 2"+ piston diameter, with the standard 2.5" ERS, of course.

And, not that this matters for autocross or not, but the inside edges of them
lasted
about 4 days with too much toe on the front, they wear superfast, and their
directional,
not like an arrow forward, but one side of the tire is specifically designed to
be the outside
so rotation is fl-rr, fr-rl.  The stick _really_ good on any pavement, and have
great wet traction.

That scary, I know I'm gonna slide if I keep pushing it, but I can't seem to
push it hard
enough to slip sort of wet traction..  I never found the wet or dry traction
limits, except
understeering on tight corners.  If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't
have bought the ES100's
a second time.  When the ES100's are gone, I'm getting rims, dammit.  If the
ES100's had a worse
treadwear rating, they'd be easier to get rid of, 280.

Can't say how much fun the AVS-I's are though, although I thought Falken Azenis
were the hands down leader of the autocross community, at least according to the

street touring list..
