The fact that it happens under light throttle tells me that it's rod knock.
I've been there (twice) so I know. Here's an test;
Pop the hood and rev the motor gently, so that you're used to being able to
duplicate the sound.
Remove the spark plug wire from cylinder #1.
Rev the motor again, listening for the noise.
Replace the plug wire and move on to cylinder #2.
Etc....
If the noise abates, you've found the cylinder causing the rod knock.
