Ceramic coatings

It has not been a problem on my car. I have had the
turbine/manifold/downpipe "White Lightning" coated for quite some time
now, almost two
years and about 40,000 miles. Of course I only run about 10-12 psi on the
street, but thats not to say the car has not seem 22 psi more than a few
times.
My only gripe is how fugly the coating is. I plan to either paint it or
maybe have some ceratic coating applied on top of it?
