flat rate billing question

Any of the pro mechanics on the list (Mike?) or anyone else know if there's
a place to look up standard "flat rate" billing rates on the 'net?  Or
would you be willing to check one at your shop?

My mother's 1995 Olds Aurora (P.O.S.) needs a water pump replaced.  The
stealer-ship previously suggested it was a $400 - $500 job, but some 'net
forums of Caddy owners with the same engine suggest it's a sub-2-hour DIY
project.
