compatible tranny for 92

Hello All,

I am in need of some help with my 1992 SE-R tranny.  I
don't know if I should buy the 5th gear pop-out kit
from courtesy, or look for a used tranny that 5th gear
will hold up in.  I tried e-mailing some guy who put a
1996 200sx tranny on his 92 SE-R.  Does anyone know if
that tranny's 5th gear isn't junk?  I don't want to
buy a used tranny if the 5th gear is going to take a
crap right after I put it in.  If you can help me out
that would be great.  Thanks for your time.
