speaker upgrade B13

I have a 93 SE-R, and I need to replace the front and rear speakers. Good ol
Crutchfield says the fronts are 5 1/4, while their web site says 6 1/2. Has
anyone upgraded their front speakers, and if so, what size did they use w/o
totally hacking up the door panel? What size have people used for the back
also. Not looking for a boom-boom-boom system, just would like to know what
size speakers fit, or what size should I upgrade to. Thanks,
