Yes. All of the newer Nissan/Infiniti vehicles are based on the new Altima
platform and share several of the same components. The Murano, Altima, G35,
G35 coupe, and Z350. Bascially all they did was stretch it here or shorten
it there, but they are all basically using the same exact platform, engine,
etc.

What is interesting is I was under the impression they would stuff a V-8
under the hood. It seems as if the Altima, G35, and Maxima would almost be
in competition of they all were powered by the same 3.5. But from the
picture, it appears to be very similiar to the Altima. Hmm?
