My car was at the body shop for 51 days. The shop couldn't get to it for 3
weeks, so there was a lot of time when it just sat there. Once they got
working on it, it came very quickly, but after almost two months I was
getting fed up. If they hadn't gotten the extra money I needed from the
insurance company, I'd have taken it somewhere else imediately. I can only
begin to imagine how you must feel after having this happen to you. I'd
"show up in person, bring the local law man, your title,  and a tow truck if
you think you'll need it and get your car out of there!" as well. I'd also
be thinking about legal actions.
