GTiR Individual Throttle Body Vaccuum Question

***There is only one place on a GTi-R motor that will
give you the correct vacuum gauge readings. You need
to hook up the gauge to the black box located at the
reat of the intake plenum. This is a convergance point
for all of the vacuum lines after the throttle body.

This is where you hook up your BOV, fuel pressure
regulator, charcoal cannister, and of course, your
vacuum/boost gauge.

If you hook up a vacuum gauge to the individual vacuum
ports closest to the head, you will not see actual
engine vacuum. These ports are only to be hooked up to
a synchronizer in order to adjust and balance the
throttle bodies. Also, don't touch the little
adjustment screws near these ports.

If you still dont get decent vacuum at the black box,
then something else could be wrong, like bad cam or
ignition timing, bad rings, etc..
