Tire opinions: SP Sport S1, Avid T4/H4

Hi,

Who here has a set of any of these? General opinions, and how are they
in mild snow? I'm looking for some ~ $50 tires to mount on some stock
NX rims to use in the late fall & winter & early spring. Not strictly
winter-tires, since I avoid driving on snow whenever possible, and
will drive my winter Sentra with skinny snow-friendly tires when it
gets nasty out. My NX has become downright dangerous, very bald AVS
Intermediates on the front, which suck in the lightest of snow even
when brand new.
