2.5' downpipe vs. 3' downpipe

***Burns' Stainless sells stainless steel transitions
for exactly this purpose. They are conical shaped
"tubes". You just tell them what starting diameter you
want and then the ending diameter and they will cut it
to length for you. They come in two different angles
as well...a steep transition angle and a gradual
angle.  I would be using the transition somewhere
before the bend/flange that goes under the oil pan.

By the way, I will be running a divorced wastegate.
