wierd gauge problem

I checked the fuses and none of them
were bad. If it was a fuse wouldn't
all of the gauges on the instrument
panel not work. Right now only the
tach does not. Also when I was
driving it today around the block
the air bag light came on for a sec
or two. At the same time that
happend the temp gauge jumped
literally to the top and the came
right back down. It is just acting
really finiky. I would think that
mabey it was the ecu but like
I said the car is running
fine. If anyone else has any
ideas please send them
my way.
