silencer (kinda old topic)

(This goes back a few days - sorry for the delay)

I am running an Apex N1 - 3" w/ 5" tip - yeah a melon cannon.  Anyway on a
turbo it has a pretty nice growl to it. Not nearly as loud as you would
suspect - quieter than my Flowmaster was and doesn't drone like the Greddy
did. I put in the silencer and it does cut some of really low frequency
rumble.  At cruising speeds there is more wind noise than exhaust. At about
80 mph it starts to be heard again.  I don't recall anyone posting about
the N1 before.
