In GA, I know that PCA, BMWCCA and the Z Club do regular track events. When
I started doing track events (when I was 18 or so) I had an old BMW and
BMWCCA events were pretty cheap, even at Road Atlanta. I think my first
couple of events were $160 for two days. Road Atlanta is very expensive to
rent now, though, and no one's events there will be that cheap. Little
Talladega is cheap, though, and fun (as I'm sure you know - do they still
do ABC autocrosses there?). I did a PCA night time trial there once, got
lots of track time, and it was under $100. I don't think NASA operates
anywhere in that area. You'll probably have to spend at least $300 for a
full weekend event nowadays.
