<the officer lied in court and said that I lost control of my vehicle,
swerving <side to side and that I almost ran into his vehicle (complete
OVER OVER the line <of lies from a cop) This couldn't be further from the
truth.

Lying in court must be in the VA cop training manual. I received a ticket
for 'reckless driving' when my inside tire slipped on the usual gravel that
is found close to the curb (VLSD on a classic)when I was SLOWLY pulling out
of a parking lot. The cop told me that he *could* have given me a ticket for
"excessive display of power" (this sounded made up to me) and that that had
street racing implications in court. I got so angry that I decided I had to
fight it. In court the cop told the judge that I spun my tires for about
50'-60' in close proximity to slow moving traffic. Outcome, thrown out
because I pointed out that the intersection that I had to stop at was not
that far away and the traffic was bumper to bumper.
I also got a ticket in VA for running a red light when, in fact, it had
turned yellow AFTER I entered the intersection, two other cars went through
after me but he couldn't catch up to them due to traffic and...they were
SPEEDING! I HATE VA COPS!!!
Sorry, I'm done now.
