Yes, all my B13s exhibit this behavior (wheels turn same direction). But I
haven't messed with enough other FWD cars to know if this is unusual. I
have seen it in action on old RWD GM cars, and it does seem to be an
accurate (if half-assed) test for Posi.

Yup, Posi was GM's (TM) for their clutch type LSDs.

Uuuhhh... Maybe. Turning manually with the wheels off the ground, you're
not generating anywhere near the torque difference, so it might.
