Blower switch overheating?!?

Wait, are you saying that your resistor pack was just stuffed up behind
the dash?  If so, that'll fry it in short order, if it isn't in the
airstream (which it is when mounted properly in it's slot, it'll
overheat quickly.

Another poor design if you ask me...  :(
