Well I posted this on the sr20deforum as well and I got a reply from Jason
who also sent me an e-mail. This is what the e-mail said.
"" At the back of the car. Underneath the car you will see a
black box
on the drivers side of the car. By where the gas tank
filler is.
Big black rectangle box. Its the evap canister. You will
find to
wiring harnesses up there. One has 2 wires the other has 3
wires.
Disconnect both. In the engine bay also disconnect the
harness that
goes to the little black box on the firewall labeled boost
gauge or
something or other. It has a connector and a vacumn line
on it.
Disconnect the harness from the sensor."
In a later email he said to only disconnect the 3 wire sensor from near the
gas tank. So I only undid 1 sensor in the engine bay and one sensor in the
rear of the car. Both are labeled BOOST SENSOR.
Jason.""
I did what he said and was able to get my TPS to work just fine. If I had
only done this before paying for 2 hours of dyno time. Oh, well live and
learn. One for the archives I quess.
