I believe that the search the archives are overused.  There are a lot of
searches that I have done that the thread just stops without a resolution
either it never was resolved or the thread was "taken off the list" ie gone
private.

Yes there are answers out there, some are out of date and need to be
updated.  The list should have a CURRENT view of things.  Therefore go look
in the archives is not always appropriate.

Personally I only use the message boards to look at the for sale topics.
Most of the postings on the boards are inaccurate or off topic.

My vote ... keep the list alive.
