Interesting side note to the oil question: Just went through all the records
of the previous owner. Other than the 1st 1000 miles, his Nissan
dealership(Michael Jordan Nissan) used 10W-30 oil on all his changes...
that's up til I bought the car this spring.

I wonder why, since the manual recommends 5W-30. The car spent its life in
NC. and is now down in FL. Should I continue to use the 10W-30 or go to the
recommended 5W-30? It's all about the seals, I just don't want any problems
with oil loss.

I also noticed that he had some of the seals replaced just a few years ago.
At this point, I'm thinking it will be just fine to just go full
synthetic(Mobil 1 Trisynthetic).
