Atypical Gear lube question

Having read the list for a while now, I am familiar with the properties of GL5
oils and the effects they have on our trannies. Heck i have experienced them
first hand. I also know that redline MT-90 is one of the highly recommended
gear oils for our trannies. Also along those lines is the Motul Gear 300.

Since I like to support the local businesses, I stopped in at one of the local
motorcylcle shops in search of either of these products. Started talking to
the owner about the problems and he was very courteous and listened to what i
was looking for and also what the intention of the project was, and all my
reasoning behind my product selection.

During this conversation he mentioned that he would consider using the Maxima
racing USA 75w-140 synthetic gear oil in my particular case. He carried it in
stock and would be willing to sell it to me. Anybody heard about this stuff or
have any thoughts on it? BTW the URL is:

Project: Swap a b14 gearset into a b13 case and install fidanza flywheel and
ACT HD PP with b15 disc and a few other minor things while i am in there. I
need to get rid of the Fifth gear popout problem i am having.

Somebody else mentioned on here that they had rebuilt a number of
transmissions for our cars and I was wondering if i could ask you a few more
pointed questions if you could e-mail me off list i would appreciate it. (Jay
Hassinger maybe?)

Think i'll call these people on monday or tuesday to see what they have to say
about their product.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
