Yes and Yes. Piston too heavy with too long of stroke
(and rod ratio plays in too) and the forces are too
great at higher rpm to hold together. On the valves,
Ducati uses cams to close the valves rather than
springs (Desmonic Valves?). You need both to pull
rev's to the stratosphere.
