The piston on rear disk brakes does not push in, it needs to be rotated. As
you rotate it, it recedes into the bore. You can use a pair of ChannelLocks,
but you run the risk of the pliers slipping, and ripping the boot or nicking
the piston. Most parts stores sell a universal tool that looks like a cube,
and it has pins in various configurations on each side. The tool attached to
your ratchet and the pins lock into the indentations on the piston.
