B14 Temperature Sensor

I took out the resonator pipe that leads to the airobox on my 99 SE-L
yesterday, and I got a CEL right away. So I took out the sensor from the
piping and pluged it back in without the pipe. The CEL light is still on. I
know that the sensor is only used on startup to tell what the outside
temperature is. After that it is not used, but still that annoying light is
still on. Any suggestions on maybe 'resetting' it instead of heading over to
the dealership? My warranty is out anyways.
