Instrument guage problems

I know this has been discussed into the ground but I can not find any answers
in the archives.  I swapped out my gauges for reversed indiglo ones. I did
NOT take the needles off, but my gauges are messed up anyway.  How can I fix
this?  The speedometer seems to be 5-10 mph off, and the tach is roughly
1,000-1,500 rpms off.   I don't even think the gas or temp gauges are
working.  Please help!  I don't know what I could have done!  Thanks
