PS pump failure

Just thought I'd share an interesting PS pump failure.

I'd been hearing a light, low knocking sound for a couple of weeks that has
had me nervous, but I was pretty certain it was the PS pump.  Kerry called
today to report a fairly loud knocking sound.  I panicked and had thoughts
of having to replace new bearings and a crank.  When I got home I looked
under the hood to see the PS pulley sitting at a strange angle with the
bolt still in place.

The bloody pump well and truly broke.  Looks like the shaft locked up.

Never heard of this before.  Thankfully I have 3 more in the garage. :-)
