Intake gasket question

  I am getting ready to swap my Jdm engine in my classic and I was wandering
if  everyone replaces the intake gasket. Reading a recent message  George R.
advised to go with a 2000 SE exhaust manifold gasket. I know it is usually
standard practice to replace any  gasket that is  has broken it's seal but
being it is on the intake side I thought that it might be OK.
  Anyone got any links to a page for Jdm swap pointers?
