Not to sound like the E-Police, but why would you want to do this?
As I see it, the only disadvantages to the EGR system on our cars are the
fact that it dirties up the intake tract and it needs some occasional
maintenance in order to work correctly. The advantages, IMNSHO, outweigh
the
disadvantages (unless weight IS the issue in this case)...
The EGR system serves two purposes. The first, and most important, is to
reduce combustion chamber temperatures during low-load, high-vacuum
conditions (cruising). This in and of itself is helpful in two ways -
first,
it reduces oxides of nitrogen emissions, and second, it helps to ward off
detonation. The second (and often unthought-of) purpose of the EGR system is
to reduce pumping losses during low-load, high vacuum operating conditions.
Power loss caused by the crank working against the relatively high vacuum in
the intake manifold is somewhat reduced by allowing an amount of exhaust gas
to enter the combustion chamber, resulting in improved economy.

Take it off and clean it. That should take care of the problem.
