Oil filter relocation

So I finaly found an oil filter relocation kit for my 97 se-r.  The only
problem is that there is no place to relocate too.  The best spot I found was
on the other side of the motor between the tranny and radiator on the frame
rail.  I guess its the frame rail.... the only flat piece of metal not allready
covered with something.  Im proably gonna end up putting it there, but the
hoses are waaaaaay to short for this, so Ill need to find some longer hoses.
Dont feel like going with ss lines yet, but maybe a future thing.  I didnt
realize how much bigger this filter would be.  It makes my 200sx filter look
like a dixy cup standing next to a keg.  its the k&n hp-3001, I belive its a
ford v8 filter.... its big.  Has anyone else found a better spot besides that?
Keep in mind I still have ac and all that stuff (no abs).  Someone thought that
the trunk might be a good spot.  We figured up that would add about 3 quarts to
the car, between lines and filter.  I wonder if there would be any problems
with running such long oil filter hoses.
