Almost forgot,

Besides idling really rough and shaky, around 4-600rpm, and refusing to
continue to idle as soon as it warmed up a little, it also left a puddle
outside the tailpipe, I think some of it was just moisture, but I think
some of it was gas (thin oily film on top?)

There also seemed like a bit of carbon was flying out along with it -
greyish black shmutz in the oily-filmed puddle.

Alas, my Screamer screams not, now.
