knock detection

We all know that the knock detection of the B13 style OBD-I ECU is pretty
crappy. Off at WOT and above 4500 RPM is pretty useless.

What I am curious about is if the factory turbo cars have any different
parameters for knock detection? This might make it worth installing a BB ECU
and wiring harness instead of continuing to use the limited stock stuff.

Since this is all ECU logic, is this something that JWT has or can mess with?
