how i messed up my header, and maybe a motor mount..

When I took my motor mount apart to fill with urethane, my passenger side
is mount was filled with some kind of thick gooey fluid sealed inside that
took many tanking and cleanings to flush out.

Could this have been some kind of freaky build-up over the years?
