Update: messed up my DET

As you all know from the title: I messed up my det.
I just did a compression check today and numbers 2,3,4
are 125, but number 1 is 0. Yep, zero.
Time to take it out and take it to the machine shop.
Anyone have any sugesstions while it's out?
I talked to jwt and the deal sounds good but a bit out of
range. $187 per piston, shipping, $200 machine work, $90
per ring set etc...
Has anyone run differnt piston/ring combo then jwt for less?

Any "take care of this while it's out" suggestions?
