I was going to join in with Carson and respond to the original post but
you said it best George... the quote was taken out of context.  When you
take just that portion alone, it's hard to believe that someone like Mario
Andretti would say something like that.

As for what you say above about finding that limit/edge, that's what I was
doing with the maxima in dallas when I spun... I was going through that
turn faster and faster each time around sliding further and further toward
the edge of the track till *BAM* I was spinning (out of control)
