Did you carefully bleed the cooling system?

It means your oil pressure is going to almost zero. If it's only because
the car is turning about 50 rpm, I wouldn't worry *too* much, although I
wouldn't let it do this for long or very often. No oil pressure is bad and
leads to bearing problems.

Not likely. I've never heard of an SR20 water pump to fail, other than the
seals fail. It's a pretty simple piece. But, they are *relatively* cheap
(about $50-60) so it's worth considering a new one.
Bleed your cooling system.
Use water wetter.
Get a 300ZX 1.1 bar radiator cap.
You may need to get a NX or GTi-R radiator.
