Anyone know where they are? There doesn't seem to be any specific point
labeled. I just used my best judgement to jack it up.
The oil change went smoothly. Much easier than on the ol' Contour. But
who's bloody idea was it to use a throw-away copper washer as the sealing
surface for the drain plug???? Looks like I'm going to have to find a
rubber-gasketed drain plug soon, or swipe some copper washers from work
here...
Anyone else see any metal specks in the oil? This is my second oil change
(first one done by the dealer), and I was hoping not to see any, but I did.
Nothing major, but none would be better.
Gotta find a bigger filter for that car, if it'll fit. There's not much
point going to synthetic with the longer oil change intervals, if you've got
a tiny filter that'll get full after 5k.
