suspension noise

Hi LMs
I have Motivational CO and GC C/C plate on my B14. I've been battling with
the suspension noise that came from the front passenger side since I
installed it a month ago. The driver side is dead quite while the front
passenger side is making a knocking noise. It seems to me that that's some
vertical freeplay or something is dangling under the shock tower. I've
uninstalled/installed the suspension 4 times but the noise it's still there.
I realized there's a minor scratch on the shaft about 3inches down from
the top.
Anyway, I went through a couple of hundred posts in the archive. One post
stated that the GC bearing is defective and a new replacement fixed his
problem (I hope mine is good). Another stated that the top hat is hitting
the shaft (I think this is my problem since my shaft has minor scratch on
it). One post suggested that the tower lip was not grind down enough. I
grinded mine half way down, I will grind the whole lip if I have to. I'm
also trying to use the Delrin bushing method that the archive suggested but
can someone tell me where I can get the bushing, what size and how to use
it?
thanks
David
