Spun Bearing on 104,000 engine --Question

My cousin just spun 2 bearing in his 91 Classic w/104,000 on the clock.
 He is wandering if he replaces the bearings will the engine have a decent
life left.
 I got a JDM I will sell him if he decides not to put bearings in, but I told
him I would ask the mailing list if anyone has replaced the bearings in there
SR20DE and had a successful life after bearing replacement.  I guess the
question really is, should he put bearings in or go ahead with another engine?
