That would work but any hits would render it useless.
Our tracks have runout areas filled with rocks that
would make short work of aluminum or composite pieces.

Yeah make sure you check the rules and maybe even
clear it with your local tech steward first, SCCA has
many rules nazi's that love to ruin your day when you
beat one of the buddys, unless your are a buddy!
How is it mounted? It looks to be

The front bumper is cut in half and the Xenon airdam
is fastened to it with riv nuts and stainless 10 24
allen heads. You need to figure out what the minumum
height is by the rules and by looking at some
aerodynamics books to figure the best position for
downforce to drag. Then you can shim it in place with
wood or whatever while you drill the holes.
The sppliter/diffuser is bolted to the crossmember,
the sides of the unibody and held to the airdam by riv
nuts and the aformentioned button head allens. With
creative positioning, you can flex this piece to get
the undebody shape you want without too much trouble
if you have an extra set of hands to help you.

That is proably a better piece to start with. who
makes it and what is it made out of? The Xenon piece
proably has better brake ducts though.
